Insights into Aging is a geropsychology-focused continuing education (CE) company founded by two geropsychologists, dedicated to elevating the quality of mental health care for older adults. We provide high-quality, evidence-based CE programs designed for psychologists and other mental health professionals who want to deepen their cultural competence, clinical skill, and ethical decision-making when working with aging populations.

Our mission is to improve the quality of mental health care for older adults by equipping clinicians with the knowledge, cultural humility, and practical tools needed to serve aging populations with dignity, respect, and clinical excellence.

Yes. Insights into Aging is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. We maintain responsibility for all programs and their content.

Our courses have and will focus on the full spectrum of aging-related practice, including therapy, long-term care, assessment, working with families, cognition, ageism, and so much more!

Courses are developed by licensed psychologists and geropsychologists with expertise in aging, neuropsychology, clinical work with older adults, capacity assessment, ethics and culturally responsive care. All content is grounded in current research, clinical best practices, and regulatory standards.

Yes. Our programs are designed to support clinicians at all levels, from early career psychologists seeking foundational knowledge to seasoned professionals expanding into geropsychology.

Yes. We offer multi part series and advanced courses.

Courses can be accessed through our website. Each course page includes registration details, learning objectives, CE credit information, and instructions for accessing materials.

Once you have purchased your homestudy course, it is yours to complete on your own time. There is no expiration date.

Each course lists the number of CE credits awarded, based on instructional time and APA requirements. Most of our courses offer 2 or 3 hours of CE.

Participants receive a CE certificate after:

Completing the full program

Passing the post test (for homestudy courses only, per APA requirements)

Certificates are delivered electronically and formatted for easy storage or upload to licensing boards.

No. We provide certificates that meet APA standards. Reporting requirements vary by state and type of licensure. Participants are responsible for tracking CEs and submitting certificates to their licensing boards independently.

We integrate cultural, socioeconomic, and identity related considerations into every course. Our trainings emphasize consideration of cultural and diversity variables, such as:

At times, we offer courses that are well suited to other adjacent professionals who might work with older adults, such as attorneys, fiduciaries, care planners, caregivers, and others seeking aging related education.

Some of our courses are well-suited for older adults and their families, such as adult children, partners, or friends of older adults looking to increase their knowledge about a certain topic, such as navigating caregiving as a family or understanding dementia.
